Real Steam to MP3?

Whats best/easiest to record straight to MP3 from a Real audio stream?

Freeware where possible

I've used Audacity before, I think it'll only record from the stereo mix on the PC? I want something that'll open the real audio stream and dub it into WAV/WMA/MP3?
