Real temp

Why wont real temp show my current gpu temp? It showed my previous Nvidia offerings but it wont show my HD4870? Where the temp reading is supposed to be it says 006fb???

Couldn't get it to show for my 4890 either, decided to use EVGA precision instead.

can you use precision with ati cards? Sorry for the noobish question, all ive ever use is nvidia stuff

Precision seems to work with my card, think it's pretty much like Riva Tuner with a nice GUI.

A good alternative is msi's afterburner, use this for temp and fps monitoring, handy that it displays on screen during a game.

Are you using the latest version of Realtemp?Had this problem on my 280gtx(although it was showing temp as 550C lol),switched to the lastest version,and all is well.
