Real-time folder sync

Can anyone suggest the most lightweight option for me to keep 2 Windows folders synchronised in real-time?

Thanks for your replies. I should’ve said, the folders are both on the same computer. Does that still make Resilio Sync a good choice?

Robocopy scripts have always looked a bit daunting and I’ve not heard of MIR, I’ll have a read…
EDIT - I see that MIR is the command for mirroring, thanks.
EDIT 2 - Do you use MON to have the changes synced in real-time?

Thanks, I’m having a read now. From what I understand, MIR is A 2-way sync, which is what I need. I think the MON command enables monitoring, I’ll see how it works in practice.

I’m not at home to test, but from reading around, it seems that MON defines how many changes need to have occurred before robocopy does it’s thing, but it’s not monitoring in real-time. MOT defines how often robocopy checks for changes with a minimum interval of 1 minute. Not quite real-time, but probably good enough for my needs.

I hadn’t realised that MIR was one-way.

DSynchronize looks like it might be a simple way of achieving my goal, albeit not as neat as using something that‘s built in to Windows. http://dimio.altervista.org/eng/

I ended up using FreeFileSync.

I tried getting robocopy set up, but I found it too complicated to correctly set up a 2-way mirror.
