Real time ray tracing nearer?

I'm currently writing a ray tracer that can make use of multiple cores and a 20x speed increase would certainly be welcome!

I think it looks good, and is good in theory, but then the same could be said for physX.

Raytracing does need a performance boost though and I feel I could make use of this.

definately, I'm a 3D designer and possibly having realtime raytracing in the viewport while im working would be fantastic. It's a shame I can't see any videos of this working on their website
