Real Time Strategy Games

Hi,

I've been too busy over the last few years to play many games but have plenty of time this year to get back into gaming.

My all time favourite is still the old Star Wars Battlegrounds which since its launch I must have spent a full 365 days playing at minimum.

I have also played a lot of the Total War Games but I'm open to suggestions on decent Real Time Strategy that have appeared in the last year or so.

Thanks to anyone who helps. I will think of them while chewing my Haribos when they hopefully arrive with my new pc next week.

you say you've played the Total War series, have you tried fall of the samurai though? Easily my favourite so far

Other than that company of heroes is excellent

Company of Heroes is top for RTS imo!

One of the best RTS's of recent times is Supreme Commander, good if you enjoy a Sci Fi RTS.

Men of war series are great except the disappointing men of war Vietnam , the Total War games over the last few year are also great Shogun 2 being the best IMO

You can get the full CoH francise for around ~£7 from Steam at the moment in the sale (it's currently 50% off, but has gone to 75% off) - this includes the two expansions, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor.

You could just buy it before and wait to install it if you do (seeing as they end in 2 days)

I didn't really get into Company Of Heroes or DoW2
