Hi all. My Googlefu is failing me so I hoped that someone here might have an idea or recommendation.

I would ideally like a simple Windows 7 compatible program that would allow me to add effects (especially Echo) to a live mic input without the need to record a track. It would be running on a system using a Realtek AC892 based onboard sound. I came across NCH Vocal Voice Changer which is free but a bit of research gave very mixed opinions as to whether this is easy to remove, leads to Spam and other annoyances etc.

Thanks in advance :).

Lol, only just saw your reply. I wear a Spongebob Squarepants Voice Changing mask when making those calls.

This is for sensory effects for my son to encourage him vocalise more. He does similar things at school but they have dedicated hardware in their sensory room which is way out of my price range.

Bit of a delay in coming back to this but I have only just got this up and running. MorphVOX Pro works perfectly for what I wanted and doesn't require any other software running to add realtime echo to mic input (thanks again for the suggestion Si :)).

The only niggle is if I plug the mic into the Sugo SG05 front port after the software had started it doesn't pick up anything. It is odd because it doesn't matter if it is running when you use the motherboard port which isn't as convenient. I guess it is an issue with the MorphVOX driver and the Realtek driver socket detection but it is a very minor issue.
