Hello,

I'm currently running an OC i920 at 3.5ghz, gtx570, 18gb ram and some HDDs on a 620w corsair psu; I am wondering if i could add a gtx660 to this or would it need a better psu.

Can I just understand something. Are you talking about adding a 660 to your current 570?

If so you can't do that they need to be of the same model e.g. 570 with another 570 and same for 660 with another 660.

You are assuming he wants to run them in SLI... maybe he is just adding the 2nd card to run 3 or 4 screens - In which case it is perfectly ok to add mismatched cards?

Power wise - Should be ok, but safest thing to do would be to get hold for an energy meter e.g.

to see what the PC is pulling at the wall - assuming the PC pulls say 500w at the wall, then in reality the PSU is only using 400W (assuming ~80% efficiency)
