Hi guys, just need a second opinion here to make sure I'm not being stupid.

Currently running a 2600k at 4.9, super stable, with a 1.5Gb GTX 580 on a 144Hz monitor.

In the games I play (league of legends, grid autosport, skyrim, civ5) I have no complaints, everything runs super smooth with no issues.

I have been itching to buy the Inno3d 980, non air-boss model, but something tells me that as I'm pulling 80+FPS on the above titles, is it even worth it?

I feel sure that I won't notice the difference, but I would notice £400 (plus the gtx 580 isnt even worth selling now because the value is so low), can someone give me a hand here?

PS the 580 has had a hard 3 years.

Thanks for you opinions, think I will hold off until either my 580 goes pop or a 980 ti comes out. Don't have any stuttering in the games I play, so happy for now. Will find something else to spend £400 quid on. Bangkok here I come

Problem is, my frame rates are already good. Would anyone notice a difference going from 80 to 140 fps anyway?

Saving the money for now seems sensible.
