I reckon I have the most annoying problem ever with FEAR. It seems like a bug, I dunno if its the new 1.07 patch or what. I didnt test it before i patched
This is on a new format with Windows x64 Pro
But basically, it can only be described as the same noise as a foghorn. It varies when it happens, but 99% of the time, its when I jump, zoom in or go into Slowmo mode. The regular sound effect plays, but this foghorn noise plays on top of it, and it starts off fairly quiet, gets louder each time for about 5-8 times then clears.
I have no idea what it is. I've got the latest X-Fi drivers, latest everything infact. I cant find anything on the net. I've tried disabling EAX and EAX HD, but it still does it, im stumped
It's annoying because it means I cant have the sound up loud, and with an X-Fi and Z5500's, thats exactly what I want to be doing
Any ideas guys?
