Hi,
I have a macmini which is just used for playing back video content through frontrow (using perian fo drivers).
Anyway all was fine, then recently a music video appeared in my list. When I select Frontow then pick Movies, I have 1 alias in that folder to a shared network drive, but there is also a video file there. SO I find it is in my iTunes folder so I delete it in finder, empty trash. Now when I go back in Frontrow the file is still listed but no longer plays a preview or plays back if selected (obviously as the source file is deleted). How can I remove the entry? I just want the shortcut to my other drive in there.
Historically I just copy files in and out of "Movies" as needed and they disapper fom the interface instantly. The only thing I think is this file was clearly added by iTunes (as it wasn;t physically in the "Movies" folder. So I have deleted my whole iTunes library (this is a secondary computer for me, so I copied my main PCs iTunes library recently to it).
It is still there.
help, or post here if my noob mac ramblings aren't clear!!
