Hey all,
right my girlfriend has had a rather serious problem with her hard drive. Its saying that theres no boot device present so she cant boot windows up. When i boot with another hard drive it cant see the other one yet windows system manager knows its there. When its in my PC it says hal.dll isnt present and when I log onto my pc via another hard drive, yet again its not there. However in the admin tools it says the disk needs initilalising. thought this was a bit odd as theres stuff already on there (windows apparently).
Ive tried a few methods to fix this but i cant even format the disk as it just says theres no disk, or that its unaccessable. Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
