Really daft PSP Question

Guys,

Finally got a PSP & I've just had a quick look through the instructions but I need something clarified...

How long is the first charge for the battery???

My phone takes a first charge of 12hrs is the PSP similair or will a short 3hr job do??

Sorry if its a really stupid question but I just want to make sure I do it proper.

It's a lithium ion battery as far as I know which don't have memory therefore as long as you charge it to it's full you should be ok. Maybe charge for 24hrs to be on the safe side?
 
Well the memory card is being used by my phone at the mo so I think I'll try the 12hr overnight jobby & have a proper play after work tomorrow :D

It's mainly going to be used as a movie player anyway...very little game wise I want yet...I'm really waiting for Infected :D

Just changing some movies to MP4 for a trial run tomorrow but thats enough of that ;)
