really dumb question about GTX460 768MB

im mid way through building my computer.

there are two 6-pin power inputs on my GTX460 768MB. do need to supply power to both of these, or just one?

the paper and CD maual are incredibly helpful about this.... not

I've always been confused about this and just for a safebet I connected both when I had my GTX460 768MB. Think it's something to do with the PSU not putting a lot of workload on just one connector and balancing between both.

generally if it has 2 inputs it needs 2 inputs.

Nope never does any harm, best to just connect both for peace of mind.

Missed that part of your post, I'm sure I found something in my manual which told me to connect both, mine is the 1gb version though.
