But how do you copy a recovery disk from a laptop......

I want to install XP on my sisters Sony Vaio VGN-NR38E.

I have 2 probs. First I can't find the XP drivers so if anyone can help with that I would be grateful.

Secondly if if goes wrong I want to but Vista back on but I can;t work out how to burn the recovery disk with Vista/drivers on it. how do I go about it?

If it has the original hd installed F11 on startup will start the factory install, provided the recovery partition is still intact. From within vista there is a recovery system manager that will allow you to burn the vista image/drivers.

Sony don't usually provide drivers for non supported OS so its a case of googling for drivers, possibly from older models with similar hardware such as wifi etc.
