CPU has shot up to 60-64 degrees in Windows lately from 48-52, even with the fans all on max. (C2D E6300 @ 3Ghz/Freezer 64)

GPU is also up 20c from idle. :o

Anybody else really shot up this summer? Can't stand the heat, this is with my ceiling fan and window open too!!

Yup, was going to make a topic about this yesterday but did something else...Slept :P

But yeah, i am actually idling now @ 40,35,39,40 from around 28 to 32 on all cores. This afternoon i was around the 50 mark on a couple of cores. Fans turned to high with not much difference, although my flat is like an oven in summer & a freezer in winter, so I should expect some fantastic temps when winter arrives :P

But at the moment these temps are terrible, buying an a/c tomorrow from B&Q. Hopefully that will help both the PC temps and myself ;)

35°C idle on CPU (E6600) which is about 5°C up from normal
GPU is up about 5°C
HDD is up about 5°C

Overall everything's up about 5°C, but it's all still good :)

I'm not complaining, just haven't been able to open my room's windows yet as there are thousands of thunderflies everywhere and I don't want them in my screen.

Other than that, it's good. Can go outside and do stuff :D

Lol what's a thunderfly? :D

I'm a Londoner you see, I've seen pictures of the countryside though, look nice! ;)

There are no thunderflies outside my windows, only hoodies!

Craig321 are you telling me the reason you wont open your window is your afraid a bug may find its way into your LCD screen? :D

Can't you put a decoy light up or something? man thats really bizarre? are they attracted to something inside the screens or just a fluke?

Yep, if I open my window they'll infest my brand new 24" screen and ruin it, my brothers old 19" has at least 20 in it from when we first moved in here and didn't know about thunderflies.

They're attracted to the warmth and the light of the screen.

Farm land, yay.... :(

im feeling the heat! its bloody hot, my ambient case temp has risen to 29c :S
my computer is in a small upstairs room that is suposed to be a bedroom but its one of those tiny ones where you could probably fit a bed and nothing else, so as you can imagine it gets pretty hot even with the door open, having a crt monitor doesnt help either lol stupid thing is like a heater!

it was only 24c inside the case around 4 days ago :(

Typical, we have some lovely Summer weather at last and you guys are complaining! :p

lol anyone who went to the sunderland airshow will be complaining :p

my wife went today and came back looking like a beetroot! and then she told me only one plane took off but there was to much fog to see it, so no other planes bothered leaving the ground lol.

Dont get the thunderflies down by the sea, it the god damm moths

im not by the sea but still get a lot of moths so i shut my windows once the lights need to come on lol, i was sat in the living room watching TV last nite with the curtains open and the light on, i must have had about 10 months trying to get through the glass on the patio door :D

daytime isnt much better though, ive had 2 wasps this week and my cats dont try to kill them :(

i really like the cold. i think even the winters are too hot.
when i can afford it i'll have climate control and have the temperature at 15degrees with low humidity, and then i will just sit there in my underwear and drink wiskey

my body runs at 38 degrees so im always too hot

Heh

Live right next to a farm myself, although we don't really get lots of flies, just lots of massive moths and wasps... and the odd horse poop smell which engulfes the whole estate when the farmer laces his fields with it :p

OT: Not sure on if my temperatures are higher due to the summer as this PC is a new build about a week ago, although I hope they are as the ambient temperature inside is about 40 - 43c.
