Hi

core speed and multiplier are wrong your cpu isnt running at full speed you need to change the multiplier to x9 in the bios to get it to full speed.

He has C1E - Enhanced Halt State set to enabled in the bios, this turns the clock speed and voltage down when the CPU is idle to save on power, as soon as there is any work load the CPU will go to its normal clocks as will the voltage.

Probably speed stepping dropping the multiplier, go into the bios and disable it.
Beat me to it, Yep thats the one C1E - Enhanced Halt State, otherwise known as speed stepping.

Try overclocking your CPU a little, the multiplier should go to 9 when the cpu is being
stressed.

I get about 12500 with the GTX at stock and my cpu at 3gig (running q6600)
