Really Nasty Cheapy Core2Duo Setup

Can anyone spec up for me a a really nasty cheapy core2duo setup, i will probably be dabbling with it, one of two rigs (whats in my sig) will be used as a Server, any suggestions would be appreciated?

I would pay the extra and get the gigabyte ds3, it's well worth the extra.

or at least an asus board, not that the asrock are not good but i would prefer using a latest chipset

I have the Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 and can get 3 gig out of my 6300 with no effort needed
