Can anyone help me please? I basically need a full PC Upgrade (Just PC, NOT including case Monitor, OS or keyboard + mouse)

Hoping one of the professionals can help me here since I have no idea on what I need etc. The upgrade will be used for gaming and hoping to have all the details on high on my 27 inch Dell Screen on the latest DX10 games.

Cheers guys!

I would read the forum rules, regarding competitor names...

Yeah man, in case you haven't already you need to take them off ASAP. Go and read them anyway but you can't mention competitor names, not even hint at them really. If you're not careful you're account will be suspended for a while.

Are you gonna be overclocking? If so, then this would be a good system for a £1000. Theres a few parts in there that can be changed for others if need be.

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz
(£160.96)

I would also get an S1 and S2 fans if your want better cooling for the Zotec.

Cant go far wrong with that. He said he didnt need the case though, so maybe drop the P182, and go for a Crossfire X38 mobo with 2x3870 GPUs if he can afford it?

Sorry I should have mentioned since I'm not really confident about o/cing and don't really want to damage my PC since I have no idea about the levels etc. I would rather not overclock....

I really just want the best gaming upgrade available for my money which will last me at least a year with the new games that are coming out for DX10 on high...

Thanks for the help guys its really appreciated :)
