Really need help with my computer turning off problem.

I seem to have an issue that my computer would just randomly turn off like someone has pulled out the power chord then it just restarts up again straight away. It used to only happen during games but its now started happening even when im just surfing the web.
Its definatly not a temperature issue because everything is at stock speeds and the temperatures are low. I formatted my computer and cleaned all the dust out and its still doing it.
I can easily produce this crash by running furmark with crossfire enabled as it would just shut down after a minute even though the temps are low.I managed to run it for 5 minutes with crossfire disabled.
I disabled crossfire for a while to see if it still goes off but i still get the same problem.
I'm wondering if this could be a power supply problem and its developed a fault?
I'm usually good with working out these types of issues but this one has me stumped as i dont see any graphic glitches or blue screens its just like somone pulls the power out then it reboots back up. Its doing it more regulary now too.

Any help would be aprechiated.

Im running 5870 in crossfire
i7 920
950w arctic pro power supply.
 
Nothing is overlocked, All at stock speeds. I used to have it overclocked and never had any problems. its all stock, fresh install of windows ect.

Thanks ill give that a try. I think its a psu issue aswell but thats hard to test without buying a new psu and seeing if the problem is still there.
 
No warranty left on it now. I did email Overclockes and they said i could buy a psu to test it and send the psu back if i still have the same issue and obviously keep it if it fixed the problem. With crossfire disabled it still goes off.

This is all i get in event viewer under critical..... I copied it from when it happened yesterday.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Iv just noticed something else too. I took out one graphic card as im going to run them seperate to make sure its not a fault card and one of the extra large fans on the back of the case isnt spinning. If i move it with my finger it spins a little like its trying to start but then it just stops. Could this be releated to the problem im having or would this be a different issue? Its Just an extra large fan at the back of the case.
Here is a pic showing the fan which isnt working. Its the one at the back.I can sort of get it working if i flick it round a few times but it doesnt spin fluid.

I could up the voltage but why would that only suddenly become an issue now? iv had this computer for about 3 years now and when iv had it at stock its never done this untill now.
Im going to try the cards seperatly first to see if it still shuts off then i can pull the power out for that fan and try that.
 
UPDATE - Okay at the moment i only have one card in my pc and i managed to run furmark for the whole 15 minutes and it didnt shut off.
Normally it goes off after about 1 minute with crossfire.
Going to take this card out now and try the same with the other card.
That should eliminate it being a graphics card problem right?
 
Its all stable so far i have loads of internet pages up and a video running and so far it hasnt shut down. Will give it abit more time then take this graphic card out and try the other one.
 
Okay well so much for that it just shut off. I havent tryed the other card yet but with just this one it still shut down while looking on the internet.
 
Tryed both cards seperatly now and it went off with either of them so i think that means its definatly not a GPU problem.
 
The make of ram is Crucial im using 4 sticks of 2gb each.

All the voltages are set to auto, I went back to stock everything when i reset them to defaults.
 
Tryed what you said still shuts down. Not sure what else i can do really. I guess im just going to have to try a new PSU?
 
Problem seems to be getting worse......I just experianced a different crash this time, Instead of the pc just turning off and restarted this time the screen froze with the picture on and i had some loud crackling/noisy sound coming from the speakers. Does that sound like a psu fault?

Let me explain.....Normally the pc just shuts off like the power has come out and it restarts up. This time the screen froze and a loud on going crackly/humming sound comes from the speakers and i had to press the reset button on the case and boot it up again.

Hey mate thought i would update you on this issue....iv upped the voltage on the cpu and the ram to 1.35 like you said and left it for a while and it hasnt shut down so far. Does this definatly mean my psu has become less efficient and even at defaults its no longer sending enough voltage to the cpu/ram?

Should i up it even more since i want to put my overclock to 4ghz back on it. When i did this before i had it at 1.35 also but i don't think that would be enough now. What is a safe voltage to put it up to?
 
What would you suggest then? i don't really want to get a new PSU if i dont need one. Do you think it would probably be a better idea to get a new cpu instead?
 
Wanted to post an update on this. My pc has been fine since wednsday but yesterday i was browsing the web and the screen froze...power went off on my mamba controll dock and when i pressed reset on my tower it appears bios had reset and all my settings had gone back to default. Any idea if this is the same problem as before and does it give anyone a bettter idea what the issue is?
 
1.35 on both, it was overclocked to 3.2. which is nothing as iv had it up to 4ghz in the past and its been fine even under stress testing.
Its also done it again with the default clock speed. Does this sound like a motherboard issue or most likely my cpu isn't as efficient as it once was.
