right people,as some of you may know im looking for some 25mm spacing radiators (need 2 more).

ive been using my google skill's and have come up with a idea that someone posted a while back.

he said "why dont you just use the 4 corner screw holes to hold the rad onto the case",now this seem's like a really good idea and will work on my case perfectly.

now,the other problem this leads to is the length between the 2 screws(left to right spacing),on my case it is 14 and a half inches between the far left and far right screw hole's,if i could find a rad that will have those dimensions then i can carry on.

at this point in time im thinking of chucking it all in and going back to a smaller case due to this problem.

so watercooling people of uk,have you got the time to measure this dimension's for me please or come up with some idea as to how im going to fit 2 rads in my case.

Just match the fan compatibility to the rad?

Or, you could drill some new holes. So you can hold the rad by the corners on the left, then drill holes for the right

the space ive got on the front of the case has to exact im afraid dude,i really dont want to drill holes in the case as it will ruin the look of the case and i dont want that if you know what i mean.

Know exactly what you mean :)

Any chance of a pic to show what you mean?

how far out are the holes to the outside of the rads? if they're around 20mm on each side you could use 120-140mm adapters like the ones that come with the noctua 140mm fans

I take it you currently have a case with 25mm rad spacing and can only get 15mm spacing rads? Don't worry about supporting the rad via all the screws or even the extreme corners, just support the whole rad using the screws of one fan and let the other fans be out of alignment with the holes and don't bother trying to get screws in those holes. The rad will be easily supported by that one fan. If it is a 360 rad then use the middle fan for support, if it is a 240 then just choose either. You shouldn't need to drill any holes. Or, you could get a 15mm rad grill and chop your case up to fit that.

this is what i mean.

the spacing between the fans is 25mm and the spacing from left to right is 14 1/2 inches.

Seriosuly?! 14.5 inches?

That's bigger than my....

Graphics card you pervs:p

you could use two 360mm rad stands, mount one rad to the floor, then mount the other rad with velcro or something to the top of the bottom rad, then mount fans to the case (not the rads) than have fans on the other side of the rads pulling the air from the fans attached to the case through the rads

15mm rads will fit that case, just mount the rad via the middle fan position on each rad. The other holes will not line up but it doesn't matter, the 4 screws in the middle rad position will hold the rads easily. If you are going case-fan-rad then the two end fans would best be mounted to the case but not the rad, that way they would line up with the case holes for asthetics.

that sound's like a really good idea.

what about the side fans ?

would they be as good with air flow if there not attached to the rad ?

If there are any gaps then seal the edges with tape or sealant. so that air can go nowhere but through the rad.

You could mount the two outer fans to the case and mount the middle fan to the case and Rad.
That way the look of the outside isn't affected: three fans + 12 fixings
and the rad will be safe with four central fixing.

Doh to slow - a cardboard or plastic shroud round the fans would also help - and be a bit neater that tape/sealant

there is one more option which im not willing to take and that is get another front panel from mountain mods with 15mm spacing but that going to cost $$$$$.

im going to fire of a mail to them and see what they say.

i think ill go for the centre fan holding the rad as that does sound a good way to go about it.

this. or you could cut out the whole back and make a new one in aluminium, then bolt or rivet it in.not as hard as it sounds.just depends how much work you want to put into it,and how much of a perfectionist you are

i want it to look perfect as owning a mountain mods case has been a dream of mine for at least 10 years.

that sounds like a good idea but would involve a lot of work and time (which i dont have),there is also the time in getting a perfect white match for the rest of the case.

ive just sent a e-mail to mountain mods and see what they come back with, ill go to £100 for a front panel but nothing more than that.

ive just had a reply from mountain mods.

Hi Mark,
The panel is $64.99 brushed.
Unfortunately the minimum cost for custom powder coating is $150.
So it would be quite expensive to get just the one panel in white.
We may have a couple slightly used 25mm spaced radiators (thermochill 360 radiators and 240 radiators) we’d be willing to give you a good price on if you’d rather just get 25mm spaced rads.
