Really noob question

I'm looking into building a new performance gaming rig in the next few weeks with 2 - 3k to spend and was looking at this mobo...

Asus P5E3 Deluxe Intel X38 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard - £170.36

It's a SATA system. To me it looks as though there is only 1 x SATA slot but I will need to connect a HDD I have seen and a DVDRW which are both SATA.

Do I need to look at another board or am I missing something? Do I need to piggy back them in a master / slave situation as I was looking at some nice shiny silver SATA cables on the site but they only have 1 connection each end. I'm looking at the DDR3 boards as I thought I might aswell when building a new system from scratch.

Any advice would be most helpful, thanks.

Another few questions - does this board have 7.1 audio, just wondering if I need to buy a 7.1 card?
Can I run 2 SLI graphics cards in this? Looking at the 3870x2 and 3870xt.
Does the ram fsb have to match the cpu fsb when I buy some?
Will I be able to water cool on this setup, just wondering if that heat pipe will get in the way - and what does that heatpipe do?? I'm looking to watercool cpu, vga and chipset blocks.

Sorry for all these questions, I've been off the scene for a while sorting out mortgages and debts etc!
