Why oh why do you deem it necessary to stick bloody great big stickers right onto the screen itself.

I have cleaned the area and ran the monitor for a few days but there is still a noticeable dark patch where the sticker was placed.

Now the question is do i go through the hassle and rma leaving me without a monitor or run it for a week and hope it improves.

Seriously stop putting no disguised swearing! stickers all over things its not smart.

The screen is a 24GM77 btw perfect in every way apart from this silly fault.

RMA it.

I had the exact same thing (same monitor as well). It's not suppose to be like that. It should be on the bezel only and it won't improve.

My replacement was fine and had it stuck on the bezel only.

Comparing the sticker on the faulty one and the ok one, the faulty one had the sticker back completely peeled off, letting it stick to the screen. The good one, had only an L shaped peeled off to fit the corner of the bezel and the bit over the screen still had the backing on to prevent it sticking.

Thanks for the reply gonna go down the rma route.

Such a same what an stupid place to put a sticker lg must love throwing money away.
