Really strange number plate!

Anyone ever seen a number plate like this before? Car was involved in a crash tonight witnessed by the other half, the four little gits in the car jumped out and ran away.

Surely it’s a fake reg!!

 
It’s a 2009 car from Wexford county in Ireland ^ (Had to google the Irish location obviously :p)

Clearly not real though as Irish plates aren't yellow and they all have the blue stripe with IRL on the side..

They don't necessarily have to comply with the law though, just as many in this country don't.
