I have just accidentaly deleted my recycle bin and cant find how to restore what I've just done, as I do not want to restore my whole system and Im sure there's a much easier way to find it again but my brain isnt working!

Can anyone help please?

:$

Hey Jebblehmoo, if you right click on your desktop and then go to "Personalize", once the "Personalization" window appears, on the left hand side under "Tasks" click on "Change desktop icons". Once the "Desktop Icon Settings" window has popped up, under "Desktop Icons", tick the "Recycle Bin" box. Click Apply and the "Ok". I am guessing you are on Windows Vista since I believe that the recycle bin in Windows XP doesn't have the "Delete" option. :)

I did it by somehow thinking that I could delete the folders and bits and bobs in the recyle bin by pressing delete then yes on the bin itself, instead of just right clicking and emptying, which of course, sane people do ¬_¬

:p :D

YOU BEAUTY!! :D!

Thank you very much Fire Wizard ^_^

And thankyou Exentia :)

Now in Vista, if the restored recycle bin does not change its icon from empty to full when files are deleted, change the theme to classic and then back again and icon refresh will work again.

Thanks O_o oddly enough I had that problem too! But its working fine with refreshing itself now instead of me doing it all the time because I had the whole system restored, it's working lovely now, I just need a good external hard drive next because I havent got enough room for the bits and bobs i want!
