Anyone playing the beta?

I had a look at the trailer, from the looks of it I thought it was a mmo action rpg. But its one of them dota inspired league of legends types.

I know a lot of you play LoL, has anyone checked out realm of the titans and what are your thoughts?

I've just had an invite. If I don't get round to playing it I'll give the invite to someone on here.

edit: not sure I can pass on the invite actually. It may be tied to my account.

And just had a go on it, not sure what to make of it really.

I dont play dota, only played lol a couple of times and thats my only experience of the genre.

I can say it seemed solid, good variety of champion types and it was fast and fluid.

Only thing I can really be sure of is the graphics, theyre pretty naff.

The actual game mechanics are identical to lol, it does nothing to breathe new life into the genre.

Just to clear this up, you dont need a invite.

Just go to the official website, register and download the client. Then PLAY

Fair enough. The wording on the email I received was terrible then:

"Realm of the Titans: , you’re Invited to Closed Beta!"

Aeria Games generally have quite a dodgy F2P/P2W model so I'd be quite worried that this would go down the same route.
