Im using a 1st gen s775 motherboard, which has realtek onboard sound.
This is all a peach for me, but im connecting my old soundworks 5.1 to it, via the orange green and black cables. The soundpanel has 6channel audio out setting (5.1) but im wondering if it has a dolby decoder in it ? Ie will i be able to experience full dolby surround as i would if i used z-5500's and digital coaxial ?
But using analogue sound outs on the back of the motherboard ?
