I've got a gigabyte GA_965_ds3 - windows XP
Sound has been fine with mp3's and games.
I don't know if this is related or conincidental, but my son was using the PC to listen to streaming music, it seesm as tho shoetly after this I lost the stereo effect.
I've installed latest drivers and installed the original Realtek HD drivers, over and over trying to sort this out.
I wouldn't say it is completely mono, i.e. when i use the gigabyte 3D audio utility there is a slight change in depth of sound, but there is defiantely no stereo. When i use the audio i/o to test left and right speakers I get same sound out of both ears.
Any ideas? Thanks
