Hello folks
I successfully built a P5E-VM based system that's generally running nice and cool, solid as a rock. However, I have a minor but still annoying issue that I can't seem to resolve.
During playback, audio/video stalls momentarily a few seconds into playback. For example, loading up a YouTube video or audio and/or video playback in Media Player. After the stall, playback then resumes seemlessly with no sync problems, etc.
I don't think its a network/bandwidth issue, as this was never a problem previously, and my tests here seem to check out fine. I've used MS Update to check for drivers, checked Asus and Realtek forums, etc. No similiar issues that I can see.
Any ideas? I'm using XP SP3 on the P5E-VM using it's onboard audio. Nothing else special about the system - a vanilla desktop, etc. Problem existed before SP3 update, so can't blame that, either.
Like I said, slightly annoying but not life-threatening. But if you could point me in a direction I've not considered, would be a great help.
Cheers
