Realtek onboard sound issue with mic

hi,

friend has a asus p5k mobo and is trying to setup the onboard sound.

has the latest drivers, latest realtek software.

when trying to use teamspeak, hes setup a key to use for speaking but all that can be heard is a beep that indicates the button is being pressed no voice at all.

the realtek software detects the mic being plugged in fine.

checked the sound settings and mic appears to be setup correct.

any help appreachiated.

go into ts and go to options and choose setup,make sure your input is set to your sound Driver option.
