Hi, just noticed if you go Divce manager/Network Adapters/Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller/PropertiesAdavaced/IPv4 Checksum Offload > Rx & Tx should be Enabled(default) - Enable the capability of IPv4 checksum both in Tx and Rx by hardware(default).

But its not on my X58 UD5A R2 mobo ITS SET AT DISABLED and you can change the setting to enabled but you have to do it everytime you reboot or power up. Tried some old drivers and latest but no joy still set at Disabled, did a quick google and other user's come firm this as well, but can't find a fix for the solution.

Has anyone come across this fault and found a fix.My mobo Bios-FE, all mobo drivers up to date. Everything is set as default + fresh in stall of win 7 Pro + Update's.

Onbroad LAN Realtek 811E CHIP PCIe GbE Family Controller.

Please help,
Oldphart.

Right just installed latest Bios FF1, IPv4 Checksum Offload > still disabled, also tried uninstalling device with drivers >reinstalled still disabled.

Just checked my GA-X58A-UD3R and it defaults to enabled, RTL8167 (Set the Property dropdown to Service in the Details tab of the Controller properties to find the chip name).

I just updated to the latest drivers from Realtek ( Click me ) and it is still defaulting to on.

It could well be a design flaw in that particular chip.
