Realtemp newb question showing one core?

Hi there,

I was just about to try first attempt at OC'ing. I have installed Real temp however when I open this it only seems to show one core. Am I doing something wrong? CPU-Z also shows one core to. When I have watched tutorials Realtemp and CPU-Z shows 4 cores for similar processors.

That is strange, double check whether all cores are enabled and show up in the BIOS.

What does Task Manager show on Performance Tab?

Also make sure you have the latest versions of the software.

Your CPU-Z is out of date, the current version is 1.59.

I can't make out your version of Real Temp but the latest is 3.70.

You could also give CoreTemp a go.

I've attached two new photos. Have I missed something really obvious? I have updated CPU-Z and it's still the same and it's the same again with CoreTemp

Problem solved, solution was found on google, here's what to do if anybody else has a similar problem:

1) Go to the start menu, then run and type msconfig.
2) A system configuration windows will open up Under the Boot tab click on the Advanced options button.
3) Now you will get to see the Number of processors box just uncheck it. Click on ok.
4) Now in the boot tab you will get to see the Make all boot settings permanent box, check that box. Click on OK.
5) Now click on YES.
6) A restart message will appear. Click on that restart button.
