hi
just wanted to know if my realtemps are fine ...
running prime they are at 84-85c and remain around that ...been running for 2 hours now .

cheers
karl

They are around the same temps as im getting, maybe a few degrees higher but thats probably due to case/ambient temps

yes probably ...but as long as they are ok thats fine ....they are now at 81-83 come down a bit ....guess does not need anymore paste on the cooler then ?

I'd aim to stick at 80max if at all poss, but you should be fine as there aren't many times when your rig will be as heavily stressed as when testing.

Have you tried running the Intel Burn Test as that can give a much quicker assessment of your rig's stability than Prime which you have to leave running for hours to get the same result.

well i tried lowering voltage ....it worked on first 5 tests ...so did test again then failed .
so upped the voltage one step in bios and done test again but run for 10 instead of 5 ...so had 3 mins ...worked fine ..just running again and seems fine ...ow as i typed that it failed again...temps hit max 86 ...but most are around 83

i have found if i do the test once , say do 10 tests to run it works a treat , but if you try again straight after it always fails ....is this the norm ....have tried it again from boot and first time works a treat .
Plus have put the cpu voltage upto 1.30v now and seems lot better
