RealVNC Faster Alternative?

Hi,

Ive always used RealVNC but now on windows7 is quite slow.

Is there a faster alternative I can use? I only use it to access a pc from another pc on the same LAN, I have never used remote access from the internet.
 
RDP? Logmein? Teamviewer? Webex? Not sure of any others, or how the speeds of these programs will compare to your RealVNC solution. Sorry, i'm rather useless :p.
 
What about Windows Remote Desktop? It's probably the fastest of them all. Failing that Teamviewer is good.
