Rear camera not working on iPad Air

The camera on my iPad Air has suddenly stopped working, I just get a black screen and if I attempt to take a picture the app freezes. Have tried basic troubleshooting like resetting the iPad, killing the app etc.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Sounds like a fault to me. If you've tried a hard reset to no avail then take it to an Apple Store - it's under warranty.

Turns out it was faulty. I took it to an Apple store yesterday and they replaced it for me
