Rear fan sometimes doesn't work

Hi guys...

Sometimes the rear fan in my PC case doesn't work, my case is a Thermal take Element G. If it doesn't work, I can simply push the fan, and it will work. Like I say, this is only sometimes...It usually works fine. Any ideas why it sometimes doesn't work?

Is this fan controlled by a fan speed controller or header on the motherboard?

It may be the case fan is failling and a new one is required

Yep sounds like the fan isn't getting enough power to overcome the intertia of the bearing on occasion. Could be a result of low speed setting or a worn bearing on the fan.

Spray the bearings with WD40 (not whilst in your case)...

For the record I have no idea if this'll work, but sounds like the kind of bodge solution that would work
