Rear Garden Advice & Shed placement?

Ok don't laugh.

Want to tidy up round the rear of our house and create more privacy without putting up high fences etc. The set up is a bit weird as it is a semi detached bungalow. Also has a a utility pole in the garden :mad:

Now I would love to put a large wooden/metal shed/garage here. Would not need permission if the roof is under 2.5m from my understanding as its close to the boundary. Just am not sure how close you can be to the pole

Don't know how close to the pole, but remember and claim annual fee from the pole owner.
We get paid from BT once a year for having a pole in our garden. Its a pittance but why not

yah. Don't think a removable Workshop/Shed will be any problem just took a drive and plenty of sheds and brick garages built right on top of them up the road. Just as long as I dont block off acess If I recall this pole was in fact in a very thick hedge before being removed and made into rear gardens

The planning portal website gives details of what can be done without planning permission. It's good advice and saves any hassle later.
