rear hugger

thinking of getting one and getting it painted up for my 2005 600cc Yam Fazer FZS

A) Are they easy to fit
and
B) where etc should I look to buy it from ? as i have no idea whom to buy from.

(I think the name is rear hugger) it is like a mudguard over the back wheel.

Yes it's called a rear hugger
Yes easy to fit, a lot easier if you remove the rear wheel

Why are you getting one and then painting it, surely you should just get one that is colour pregnated in the first place?

Yes mate - you have the right idea. They look ok and you'll keep the crap off your shock.

Powerbronze, Skidmarx, and lots of others are about. It depends what you want to pay.

A) They are very very easy to fit.

Yeah - Dont paint it. I'd just go for black if it will work..........

I purchased a body coloured one for my ER-6f last year. Easy enough to fit, but I really didn't like the look of it so sold it again. Black/grey would probably have been a better choice, rather than candy plasma blue

My Bike is red. Only said get it painted as wasnt sure about if they all came painted.

The aftermarket parts are usually either black ABS plastic (sometime with a fake carbon pattern) or they are GRP with a coloured gel coat finish.
