Got Logitech z560 4:1 speakers on Gigabyte DS3.
All work fine but the rear speakers are a lot quieter than the front ones.
Installed yesterday on Vista64 Home premium Pc.
Originally had this problem on my other pc with xp pro - workaround was setting the speakers in the windows sound menus to surround sound. Checking with the realtek menus these were also quadrophonic. All 4 speakers then output at the same level. If they were left at stereo in the windows menus then the problem arises.
Tried this on Vista64 the realtek and windows vista menu's are set to 4 speakers but the rears are too quiet.
Anyone got a workaround for this.
