I put this here because it could have gone in software, audio or maybe hardware. Plus its just a general question

Does anyone here use or did you Reason by propellerheads?

Its for making music of all kinds and is great, im just having trouble recording to the arrange mode

thanks. I create say, a drum loop then when i want to draw it in the arrange mode it goes in but transparent, then when i play it, it play all together with everything else like subtractors and sequencer etc

very annoying

my oxygen 8 keyboard should arrive soon. woo ho :)
 
I've looked at Reason, is it any good for putting down some demo stuff at home? I'm looking for something that I can program some drums into and then record a few tracked guitars, it will make it easier to write band material and then take it along to rehearsals on cd etc..

yeh, my mates use it in their band to make some drum noises i think

Reasons not really your best answer for this. Try Cubase.
