Building the spec for my new PC
This is for GP office apps, but power been designed in to run DaVinci for video processing, which is very much CPU cycles driven, don’t need a blazing hot GPU, but one that is a reasonable match to other components.

Current build will include PCIe 5 capability, but don’t know if it’s worth paying the premium.

My thoughts were a Radeon™ RX 7800 XT, so using that as the spend limit (470) and maybe some thing cheaper may suit. Needed 4K graphic capability at 100fps.

Ryzen R9 9900
ASUS Prime x760 motherboard
Vengeance 2x16GB DDR5 6000MT/S
Corsair T700 x1TB M.2 primary
WD SN850X x 2TB. M.2
Corsair shift RM850X psu
Artic Liquid Freezer III 360
Fractal Design Define R7 case

Welcome comments on Radeon™ RX 7800 XT or alternatives.

Think you nailed it with the RX 7800 XT although 4070 maybe if you want to go team green and drop RAM but a bit more power efficient..

Personally I've not had any issues with my 7900XTX on Davinci over the past year, been great but I think I maybe overspec'd :D
