I'd be up for an OcUK group, but most people only use for Facebook for people they've actually met and know, which would mean we might not get many members

#3 it works completely backwards and has the least intuitive interface I've ever used, almost every action requires you to install someone's stupid app and then tries to trick you into sending it to ALL your friends.
#4 employers look at the site while thinking of employing you.

#6 my sister uses all the social networking sites and i get loads of spyware and other nasty things when she uses my comp on they sites so i have banned her from using it

Lock your privacy settings to only friends can see your profile solves #4 and 5 (assuming you don't add all the tom dick and harry), #6 however is user's fault, banning her is the best idea - if you're running vista, banning so so much simpler now

All your stupid friends decide to add all them stupid applications, visiting their page takes years to load and trying to be kind and write on their wall takes hours of effort to scroll down and find that bleeming section!

yeh i had vista but it made my games run to slow and bugs with soundcard so i went back to xp pro.
if im awake i can stop her using my comp but sometimes i wake up and she is on it... im gonna have to set up a password on my account and power of my comp when ever im napping if shes in my house

That just depict what a friend of mine does!
His research the late afternoon before we head out for a pub crawl is to first know which sports club will be there, read up a few "fitties" profile and then smooth his way in...

I'm on Facebook but have never installed an app except the one to upload video and have never joined a group or network. All privacy things on lock-down.
All because of all the reasons listed above. Especially stupid groups and pointless applications.
