My dad give me his old laptop the other day, its a nice little thing but a couple of keys don't work, namely the space bar, the 4 and 6 dont work either but I can live that, obviously the space bar is the main problem so I was hoping the incredible minds of OCUK could tell me how to reassign the space bar to another key, say Caps lock or the key thats above tab on most keyboards (does this: ¬ if you press shift) as this is next to the space bar on the laptop.
I've had a look and a go, I found some guide the other day on how to do it in the registry for caps lock but I didn't have the laptop then and I'm not too confident with messing with the registry. I downloaded a little app called KeyTweak that looked like it'd do it easy but you had to restart every time you did anything and it didn't even work, I dont know if I was reassigning the wrong way round though but if someone could help us with this I'd be really grateful.
