Hi,
I have software which uses a dongle, the software is no longer made, at present i have the dongle on LPT1 (only one on the computer). I am using WinXP operating system.
I have fitted a PCI 2xLPT card (one with a cable) I intend to use the cable connection back to front (i.e. the dongle will be inside the computer, out of harms way), the problem is the sofware wont recognise the dongle on this port, still works on LPT1 ok though.
Can i reassign or swap the ports so that LPT3 becomes LPT1, is this possible ???
regards,
David
