As i am new to building pc's i just have a few questions which i hope will reassure me that im doing the right thing or should i say have the right hardware.

First off this is my build that i am going for.

Motherboard : MSI Z77A-G45 Z77 Socket 1155
Processor : 15-3570k
Ram : ddr3 Vengance 8gb (2x4)
PSU : Coolmaster GX 650w Bronze
Graphics : TBD
SSD : Agility 3 120g
HDD : TBD
CPU Fan : Akasa Venom VooDoo (already got it on offer from OCuK :D)

my case is the Inwin Dragon Rider.

So yeah would the 650w be enough power?

Im thinking of getting MSI HD 6970 OC 2048MB Twin Frozr II or a GTX 560 ti 1gig twin frozr, which would be best? i do plan to overclock. (open to other recommendations aslong it doesnt exceed £200)

Im after a HDD as cheap as possible really, i need something to store downloads like movies music etc i plan on using the ssd for windows and gaming.

Any help would be appreciated :)

is the vengeance memory the low profile version , cos the other stuff can cause issues with most 3rd party coolers, due to the memory dimm coolers being a bit tall.

psu will do fine, have a look at the ati 7850's for the gfx cards.

ssd wise have a look at the crucial m4's and the samsungs.

hard disk wise , seagate or western digital will do.

How bothered are you about Xfire/SLI?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Sapphire HD 7850 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £190.00
1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £173.99
1 x MSI Z77MA-G45 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro-ATX Motherboard £92.75
1 x Samsung 128GB SSD 830 Desktop Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton Ghost - (MZ-7PC128D/EU) £89.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM (ST2000DL003) £85.99
1 x Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 700W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £76.99
1 x GeIL Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1600C11DC) £37.99
Total : £759.70 (includes shipping : £10.00).

That's Xfire capable. The 7850 overclocks well, it also uses less power so if you want to dual card the GPU you don't need a hefty PSU. 700W is enough for 2 7850s and overclocking, the PSU i spec'd is modular aswell. Offers change to tomoz so our specs will need updating then ;)

6970 vs 7850

Hope this helps
