Hey All!

I don't know what info you guys would need for any advice regarding this, but essentially my PC shuts down and reboots itself very randomly. It doesn't seem to happen at any specific times, its quite rare to the point I forget it happens. It's not even that annoying cause it never seems to happen under load while gaming! Just when I'm not looking at it, or browsing the net. Its super random.

No BSOD, no error messages. Just swiches off, then back on. All boots very quickly and normally. Im back doing what I was doing within 20 seconds, so I havent even looked into it before, but thought I should ask! lol

Event viewer shows this when it does happen. And its been happening since I built it in March. But like I said, happens rarely to the point I forget about it.

"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

Edit: This is my PSU - Corsair TX650M 650W 80 Plus Gold Semi Modular Power Supply (CP-9020132-UK)

How old is your PSU?

Sounds like a loose connection to me.

I'd recommend re-seating the case/mobo pins (in case the reset pin is shorting every now and then due to vibrations etc). I'd probably also reseat the mobo power cable in case thats just slightly loose.
