In my current system I have a 74GB Raptor (SATA), 30GB WD and a 140GB WD both PATA 133. I also have a DVD Rom and a ASUS CD Burner both IDE and an external USB DVD burner. I currently have the OS (XPProSp2) on the 30GB drive with the Pagefile on the Raptor along with Fear, BF2 and CSS. The 140GB has all my other programs and downloads ^^
Im thinking of buying a ASUS PB5 Deluxe mobo which will only run x2 IDE devices and was wondering if I should use the raptor as the boot disk and just run the 140GB WD with the DVD Rom on the IDE channel?
Or buy another cheaper SATA drive as a system/OS disc running the pagefile on the raptor with the games I mainly play?
Its a clean install either way but I guess im trying to work out the best way to do this?
