I rebuilt my pc and it worked fine for a day. Psu blew which I tested by pinning 4 5 and no fan.
Installed new psu and now I get mbios bbios leds flashing when I pwr up with nothing but main and cpu cable attached.
Psu ticks as the 2 leds flash.
mobo is gigabyte auros master z390
I'm desperate.....please help me...

Can you make these statements clearer? I don't really understand what you're saying.

Why have you started a second thread? I have already replied to the original one providing links to troubleshooting!

Basically with just new psu connected with main and cpu cable to the board, the psu trys to start and ticks, as it does the mbios and bbios leds flash, it then repeats.

If the PSUs were modular, are you using the cables that came with the new PSU, or the old ones?

The cables that came with psu.
Same thing happens if I disconnect the cpu cable.

So, all that happens is the PSU ticks and the LEDs flash? You get nothing else whatsoever, no fans, no nothing? It sounds like the old PSU may have killed your board, unless the new PSU is also faulty.

There's no chance of a short in the case, right?

I've already replied to him in his original thread.

I just plugged in another old psu and the same.
Can I reload the bios without it starting up or as bbios is a backup, can I use that?
