Have a friend how needs a new card has about £100 to £130 to spend not to sure at that level what would be the best choice been out the game for a bit.

It's PC-Express

Look at the 6800GS on offer this week only for £130, very good card, or an ATI X800 GTO².

What about the 7600 GT at £146 it's a bit more expensive but seems to really cut it.

That would be a nice next step up.

I'd also consider the 7600GT

If he can't stretch to that then the X850XT is a good choice

i realise this is not exactly a sales area!! but ive got an original GTO2 sat here unlocks and overclocks very well, 3dmark 06 score of 6400 (can do more but im not that brave) £110 if he wants it.
