Rec Room - Free Social/Multiplayer Mini-Games

It's possible my search foo has failed me but there doesn't seem to be much chat about this - and it's a real gem.

Essentially it's a multiplayer set of mini-games - like Table Tennis, Frisbee, Dodge Ball, Paintball and others.

One of the really neat things about it is that by default it's massively social by simply putting you in a lobby with the rest of the Rec Room player base.

So you don't need to have friends to just start up and immediately start having a conversation with someone.

Best of all, it's free - so you've got no excuse. Get it downloaded and give it a bash!

Anyone else use Rec Room? I tried it for the first time last night and it's pretty awesome tbh - the UI is spot on. I didn't realise the vive mic was on, so probably sounded like a crazy person babbling to myself...

I am in Rec Room a lot. I really like paintball. And sometimes I spend ages trying to score long distance baskets.

haven't played the new quest yet. Must organise a group some evening to go adventuring

The pirate quest is brutal compared to the others. Only finished it once and haven't been back to it since! Actually, I still haven't finished the Crimson Cauldron one yet.

I haven’t even tried a quest yet, I usually just play paintball or throw badly drawn penis’s around people heads..

I haven't been on in months, does it have smooth locomotion yet? One of reasons I stopped playing is I HATE the teleportation locomotion

The quests are hands down the best parts of Rec Room - you should give them a go.

Ah nice one mate, I’ll give it another go, playing it with smooth locomotion will make much better
