Hello Guys

I am planning to build a new PC and i am wondering if you could give me any suggestions about Cpus.The rest of the components will be as follows.
1)Enermax Galaxy d ddr3 xx 1000w
2)Asus striker 2 extreme
3)Plextor 810 sa
4)velociraptor 300gb western digital
5)corsair 4gb ddr3 2000mhz (still searching fot the title)
6)280 gtx xfx xxx edition
7)Cpu?

how about a Q9450 for Quad Core OR a E8400 for Dual Core?

adn the gains for DDR3 over DDR2 are really indistinguishable, and not worth the money, also, with the 4870 being abour £130 cheaper than the GTX 280, and haveing about 80-90% of the performance, i'd get that.
